SECCRA Power produces green, renewable energy through the combustion of methane. Methane is a

component of landfill gas, and is a natural byproduct of the decomposition of solid waste in a landfill.

Currently, SECCRA Power is producing 1.8 Megawatts of electricity.  The addition of an additional generator

ensures that the maximum amount of methane is being converted into electricity. The additional generator will

provide an additional 1.6 Megawatts. In total, more than 2,000 homes will be powered by this renewable,

green power source.
