Alkaline batteries
For now, put alkaline batteries in the trash. We are looking into providing recycling in the future, but if you throw them away, our liner system will keep the groundwater safe.

Appliances
Recycle at the SECCRA Community Landfill. When you arrive at the site, make sure to use the intercom to tell us what you have, then follow the procedure to dispose of your waste. There is a charge for this service. See also, Refrigerant Appliances.

Recycle at the SECCRA Community Landfill. After entering the site, go to the left, and place in the appropriate bin next to the vending machines.
Cardboard (pizza/cereal boxes/corrugated)

Clothing
Recycle at the SECCRA Community Landfill. After entering the site, go to the left, and place in the Salvatin Army bins.
Electronics
Recycle at the SECCRA Community Landfill. When you arrive at the site, make sure to use the intercom to tell us what you have, then follow the procedure to dispose of your waste. There is a charge for this service.
Freon appliances
Garbage
If your waste is generated in our service area, come to the SECCRA Community Landfill. When you arrive at the site, follow the procedure to dispose of your waste. There is a charge for this service.

Inform the weighmaster using intercom, dump in designated area by the small load dropoff.
HHW (Household Hazardous Waste)
Contact Chester County Solid Waste Authority for dropoff dates.
Major appliances
You must notify the weighmaster using the intercom.

Oil filters
Can be thrown out if all oil is removed.
Paint (Latex Only)
Must be dried out or hardened. Latex only, no oil paints.
